Look and feel great but don't last if you actually wear them

I bought these because my mom had a pair she'd worn for 15 years, and it seemed like a good investment if I wouldn't have to buy another pair of rain boots for at least ten years. When I got them they looked great and were very comfortable to wear. I was very happy with them for the first year, but a couple of months into the second year the rubber along the instep cracked. Since the warranty only lasts for one year, the company is unwilling to replace them. These are not the same boots they used to be- they are now made in China with a different kind of rubber. They probably are still okay if you just want a cute rain boot to wear around a city when it rains, but if you plan on working in them, gardening in them, or wearing them through mud and muck they are not worth the money. I will not buy another pair of these boots. They are far overpriced for the inferior product they are. I'm only giving them two stars instead of one because they are still comfortable to wear, despite the fact that they are no longer waterproof.

Dream came through!

Always, always wanted a pair of Hunter boots... Now that I own a pair, my yearning finally came to an end. Great quality & just in love with them. Making up reasons just to wear them! However, I am a regular size 9 & their size 9 is slightly large - enough room to wear thick socks with them during winter!

Top quality product

We've purchased these type boots for years. We definitely had some issues with the shipment from the UK initially, but the vendor did work with us, and we were able to conclude on a positive note.
