wobbly and too big
By sonia
These boots were larger than expected and my feet wobbled around inside of them. Even if I wore really thick socks, I felt really off balance. Luckily, the seller gladly accepted my item for return and even waived the restocking fee. Although I did not like the product, I would purchase from ZooShoo again because of the good customer service provided.

small calf, loose ankle
By Ross
I got this boot because I wanted a longer, to the knee boot, which this is. BUT the calf opening is tight so I can't put my jeans into them, I have to have the jeans outside. If barelegged, the opening rubs on my calf. I don't have large calves or have had problems with the size of them before. The ankle is also loose and looks baggy (if that's possible). I might cut the rubber to make the opening more comfortable.

Buy an Insert, good boot for value
By Ms. Quarter
For the price in comparison to other similar rainboots, these are just fine. You will definitely need to buy an insert because a) the foot area is big and your foot will shift with every step, and b) the sole is only slightly thicker than the rubber on the rest of the boot and the insole will add a little more stability (walking down steps, for example, I felt the corner of each step through the sole of the boot). For me the opening is snug around the calf and not loose like in the photos, but that's a size 0 model, so...
There is excellent flexibility in the ankle area and I don't foresee any problems walking longer distances now that I have an insole and my foot doesn't move. I would almost say the ankle area is a bit too big, but I suppose that makes it easier to get it on and off as similar, fitted, stylish winter boots usually have zippers. I usually wear a size 8.5 and ordered a 9. It fits fine.
All in all, not the perfect specimen of boot fit-wise, but it's less than half the cost of most of its competition.
Did I mention you should buy an insole?
