It's tough to find boots to accommodate my fat calves and still fit my size 3 1/2 foot! I looked at numerous sites about these boots and many reviews from women said that these boots have wide openings and the foot base runs large. So I ordered a half size smaller and I couldn't even get my foot in! Now I have to pay for the postage to return them to the UK. So if you order these boots (which look and are rated quite durably elsewhere), make sure you get a bigger size!

I own 3 pairs of these boots, one for me and 2 for my sons, in child sizes. I also bought 2 pairs for my girls from competing brands at the same time. All of the boots that I bought for my children have received about the same amount of use. The cheaper brands have peeling insides and the outside colors have faded on the cheaper boots, one of the cheaper boots also has a broken buckle on the side strap. The Hunter boots have held up wonderfully and worlds better than the other brands. With a quick wipe the Hunter look brand new even after repeated use!
